The couple will exchange rings in a grand ceremony on June 8, 2025, in Lucknow, followed by their wedding on November 18, 2025, at Hotel Taj, Varanasi.

Who is Priya Saroj?

Priya Saroj has recently made headlines as the first-ever elected Member of Parliament from Machhlishahr, Jaunpur. An advocate by profession, Priya has built a reputation for her simplicity, commitment, and service to the public. The match was confirmed by Toofani Saroj, Samajwadi Party MLA from Kerakat and father of Priya Saroj. He shared that the two families met in Aligarh, where they mutually agreed upon the alliance. The marriage will be solemnised following traditional customs and ceremonies. According to sources close to the family, Priya and Rinku have known each other for a while and made the decision to move forward with mutual consent and deep understanding.

Toofani Saroj revealed that their acquaintance was initiated through a cricketer who is the father of one of Priya’s close friends. What began as a casual meeting gradually blossomed into a relationship grounded in mutual respect and admiration. Over time, the couple earned the blessings of their families and decided to formalise their bond.  The star-studded celebrations are expected to be attended by renowned cricketers, Bollywood celebrities, and top industrialists.

Rinku Singh cricket career

Born on October 12, 1997, in Aligarh, Rinku Singh comes from a humble background. His father, Khanchandra Singh, worked as an LPG deliveryman, and Rinku often helped him in his early years. Despite financial hurdles, his passion for cricket never waned.

Rinku’s talent first gained national attention when he won the Man of the Series title at the International School World Cup held at DPS ground. His big break came in 2017 when Kings XI Punjab picked him up, although he didn’t get a chance to play. In 2018, Kolkata Knight Riders signed him for Rs 80 lakh, and his explosive performances in the 2023 IPL made him a household name. Recognising his potential, KKR retained him for a whopping Rs 13 crore in the 2025 IPL mega auction.

Today, Rinku is not just a cricketing sensation but also a member of India’s T20 and ODI squads.
