Controversies around Elvish Yadav
Elvish Yadav has been involved in several controversies that got a lot of media attention. In November 2023, he was arrested under the Wildlife Protection Act for allegedly providing snake venom at rave parties in Noida. During the raid, authorities seized nine snakes and 20ml of venom. Several people said Yadav was the organiser and supplier. He was released on bail after spending eight days in custody.
He approached the Supreme Court seeking to quash the chargesheet and summons issued against him. However, the Allahabad High Court had dismissed his plea, stating that the allegations required thorough legal examination due to multiple FIRs filed in the case.
