Jack Schlossberg, the grandson of former President John F Kennedy, recently took to his X profile to announce he’s “having a son.” A series of social media post sought to paint the picture of the liberal activist having a child “out of wedlock” with US Vice President JD Vance’s wife Usha Vance. Continuing to troll his followers, the Harvard and Yale graduate maintained his prankster aura online.
The 32-year-old who has openly voiced critical takes on his cousin Robert F Kennedy Jr tweeted on Sunday, “I’m having a son !! So excited about this.”
He went on, “Cannot wait for the birth of my next child because today was the best day of my life. Out of wedlock, yes. But we might get married.” Jack Schlossberg then followed up with a bizarre photoshopped post – featuring Usha Vance – on Instagram. In the edited picture the Second Lady of the United States is seen holding a baby, whom Jack photoshopped to look like himself.

Cannot wait for the birth of my next child because today was the best day of my life.
Out of wedlock , yes. But we might get married.
“Little Jason and his mom — You never feel like you’re ready to be parent. Until one day, you become one,” he captioned the IG post. Both his X and Instagram posts seemingly implied that he welcomed a baby to the world with Usha Vance. Some SNS users joined in on the joke and played along with Jack Schlossberg’s prank. On the contrary, some questioned how long these stunts of his will continue online.
Not the first time Jack Schlossberg has dragged Usha Vance into his social media posts
This isn’t the first time the JFK grandson has alluded to the second lady in his social media posts. Earlier this year, he used his X platform to raise the question who was “hotter” between Usha Vance and his grandmother Jackie Kennedy. “True or false: Usha Vance is way hotter than Jackie O?” Jack Schlossberg tweeted in January 2025.
Even at the time many questioned how far he was willing to go “for engagement,” further reminding him the controversial extent of his post. Ultimately, Jack sent out a follow-up post branding himself a “literal pervert.”
The self-deprecatory post read, “I’m a literal pervert. I called my grandmother hot… have I totally lost it? Jesus… this kid will do anything for attention. Your grandfather would be ashamed. Seriously. Time to get a job.”
JFK grandson’s controversial social media run
Jack Schlossberg has previously also admitted to relying on the outlandishness of his social media post to make a point. “I think that the internet is a place where it’s difficult to break through, and it’s difficult to break through especially if you’re not saying something that’s controversial, or at least, somehow unexpected,” he said during an episode of MSNBC’s podcast ‘The Blueprint with Jen Psaki. “And I think that I see that Democrats play that game not as well as we could.”
In addition to foregrounding that Democrats need “different strategies to break through,” he said, “And I think that’s kind of the game that the other side’s been playing really well, which is flipping people out — and getting a reaction is almost half the battle.”
In the interview’s aftermath, Schlossberg deactivated his social media in February. “I’m sorry to everyone I hurt,” he wrote. “I was wrong. I’m deleting all my social media. It’s been fun. Thanks anyways everyone.”
