After the FBI identified Tyler Robinson as the suspect in the murder of conservative commentator and Trump ally Charlie Kirk, everyone on the Internet has been talking about him. While some are eager to know about his political leanings, others are curious about his personality. Now, his classmate from 2021 has come forward and revealed that he used to be like a “Reddit kid”.
‘He was a Reddit kid’
“I went to school with this Tyler Robinson kid. I’ll show you all. That’s him right there. Tyler Robinson,” he said, pointing to his picture on the school’s “Class of 2021” sheet.
He added, “I’m not trying to like clout chase make this shit about me, but I’m not gonna say I knew this kid really well. I didn’t know him very well at all, but I definitely saw him for like three straight years in high school, and the best way I could describe him is just like a Reddit kid.”
‘Could have done anything for…’
His classmate blamed excessive time spent on the Internet for influencing his actions – actions that shocked not only America but also Charlie Kirk’s followers around the world.
“I don’t know. I feel like if you were in high school around that same time and even probably now like 2018 and then like you know those kinds of kids, but that’s exactly what he was,” he further said, before adding, “All I’m gonna say is this is the kind of shit that happens when you spend way too much time online and all of a sudden your beliefs are all the way this way or all the way this way and you do some dramatic shit to please these people that are not your friends.”
This man says he went to high school with Charlie Kirk’s accused assassin, Tyler Robinson.

He describes him as nothing more than a “Reddit kid.”
According to him, Robinson may have spent all his time online and may have done something stupid just to “impress his friends.” pic.twitter.com/aqPyu4MP2P
‘Very, very big into gaming’
Yet another classmate, whom CNN interviewed, described him as someone who is “very, very big into gaming”. He also revealed that Robinson and his friends would play card games during lunch breaks at school.
The classmate further said that it was “quite all the time” and was also a “little goofy”. “He was fun to be around, fun to talk to. He just was kind of shy and didn’t open up very often,” the classmate expressed.
