Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal has become the latest high-profile individual to purchase a luxury apartment at DLF Camellias in Gurugram. The 10,813-square-feet apartment was purchased for a whopping Rs 52.3 crore and incurred a stamp duty of Rs 3.66 crore. Goyal had previously bought a a plot in the Mehrauli area of Delhi for Rs 50 crore — a year before purchasing the ultra-luxury residence.
According to reports citing property registration documents, the transaction was executed in mid-March this year. The purchase was originally made from the developers in 2022. The luxurious apartment spans 10,813-square-feet and comes comes with five parking spaces.
The super luxury high-rises in Sector 42 of Gurugram has a total of 429 units close to the golf course. The homes are configured as 4 BHK, 5 BHK, or 6 BHK apartments with current prices starting from Rs 70 crore.
Several prominent personalities and business leaders have purchased homes within DLF Camellias in recent months amid growing demand for premium real estate. Info-X Software CEO Rishi Parti bought a penthouse for Rs 190 crore in December 2024. Wesbok Lifestyle’s Smiti Agarwal also purchased an apartment for Rs 95 crore last year.
