Elon Musk’s father, Errol Musk, has claimed that China is attempting to recruit the billionaire’s 7-year-old half-brother for a gaming tournament, according to a report by the Daily Mail.
Elliot Rush, the 7-year-old in question, is one of Errol Musk’s youngest children. He fathered Rush with Jana Bezuidenhout, his former stepdaughter-turned-girlfriend. Jana, 38, is the daughter of Heide Bezuidenhout, Errol’s second wife.
Errol, now 79, raised Jana from the age of four as his stepdaughter, but their relationship later took a controversial turn when they had a child together when she was 30.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, Errol made the startling claim that China sees Rush as a rising star in gaming. He even hosted a Chinese businessman at his ranch in South Africa in connection with this alleged recruitment.
“They say he will be the biggest thing in China. They say he’s a prolific gamer and he’s a champion,” Errol said, showing little concern about the geopolitical implications of China’s interest in his son.
Errol Musk’s react to Ashley St Clair’s claims
Meanwhile, Errol also commented on right-wing influencer Ashley St Clair, who has claimed to have given birth to Elon Musk’s child. However, he declined to confirm or deny the claim.
“I would find it very strange if a woman is saying she has had a child with Elon and telling people quite publicly about it. If it turns out not to be true, she would be a little crazy, don’t you think?” he remarked.
“Any woman with a slight brain would be mad to turn down the opportunity if she were to be offered a child with Elon,” he added.
Elon Musk is Errol Musk’s son from his first marriage to Maye Musk. The couple had three children together: Elon, Kimbal, and Tosca.
