A real estate company based in Chennai has been receiving praise from people after it announced a fully sponsored trip to London for 1,000 of its employees. The gesture, the company said, is its way of “sharing wealth” with its top-performing employees, HT reported. 

Casagrand revealed that the week-long trip is part of its annual employee reward initiative – Profit Share Bonanza. Employees from its India and Dubai offices will travel in batches to ensure everyone gets the experience. 

This trip has been planned by a dedicated team for several months to give employees an unforgettable experience. 

Itinerary as grand as this gesture

“The itinerary includes a guided audio tour of Windsor Castle, explorations through the vibrant lanes of Camden Market, and a grand team dinner (gala dinner) at the InterContinental London,” according to the company statement quoted by HT.

The employees will also visit St. Paul’s Cathedral, London Bridge, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, and Madame Tussauds, among other places. The experience will wrap up with a scenic Thames River cruise.

The company’s founder and Managing Director (MD), Arun Mn, said that the company “believes in sharing wealth”. He explained that the annual tradition of rewarding employees is deeply rooted in the company’s culture. 

“Every year when we celebrate our people in this special way, it reinforces what Casagrand truly stands for. Our teams are the soul of this organisation, and seeing their happiness, the laughter, the tears of joy, the overwhelming emotions make all of us very proud and happy for the culture we all built in our organisation together,” HT quoted the company’s founder as saying. 

The MD went on to say that success feels more meaningful when those involved benefit from it.

He added, “We believe in sharing wealth, and it brings us immense joy to know that so many of our people are travelling abroad for the very first time in their lives, while many others are getting to experience this again. Watching all of us fulfilling our dreams, creating memories and returning with a renewed sense of pride is one of the most rewarding parts of this tradition.”

This is not the first time that the company has planned such a trip for its employees. Over the years, it has taken around 6,000 employees across the world, including Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Dubai, and Spain.

As expected, people can’t stop talking about the company’s larger-than-life gesture, with one saying, “London trip for 1,000 employees? Damn! Casagrand just raised the bar so high my company’s ‘pizza party’ looks like a joke.”

“1,000 employees on a week-long international trip shows how strong Casagrand’s profit-sharing culture is. They’ve done similar large-scale trips before, so this fits their pattern of rewarding teams in a big way,” another added. 

A third commented, “Bro… at this point, Casagrand isn’t a real-estate company, it’s a travel influencer with extra steps.”
