A Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) bus near M Chinnaswamy Stadium went out of control after its driver reportedly suffered a seizure, ramming into nine vehicles, including three autorickshaws, three cars, and several bikes. A video of the same has gone viral on social media and is sending chills down people’s spines.
Heart-sinking viral video
The video opens with the driver seated behind the wheel. Moments later, he appears to suffer a seizure and inadvertently presses the accelerator.
As a result, the bus moves forward and collides first with an auto-rickshaw and a car, before crashing into several other vehicles in its path. The conductor can be seen frantically trying to take control of the vehicle, but is unable to stop it in time. Towards the end of the video, he finally manages to apply the brakes, even as the driver continues to suffer a seizure.

‘No injuries were reported’: BMTC official
According to a report by The Hindu, the bus driver was shifted to a nearby hospital and is out of danger. “Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The driver, who experienced the medical emergency, was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital and is out of danger,” a BMTC official said.
The official added, “No harm was caused to anyone, and all are safe.”
The outlet further reported that the traffic police quickly cleared the vehicles from the road to avoid congestion and smooth movement of the vehicles on the road.
