BJP MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy recently impressed passengers on a Patna-Delhi IndiGo flight with his engaging in-flight announcements. The unique style of sharing travel details kept everyone hooked throughout the journey. MP Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who was also on the same flight, thanked him for a “unique” experience, which he will apparently keep close to his heart.

‘Patna to Delhi IndiGo flight was unforgettable’

Sharing his unforgettable experience on X (formerly Twitter), Chouhan said, “Rajiv ji, today you won our hearts…,” before adding, “The flight from Patna to Delhi today was unforgettable for me, because the co-captain of this flight was my dear friend, senior politician, and Chhapra MP, Shri Rajiv Pratap Rudy Ji.”

The former CM detailed how Rudy made the flight announcements so special and described his approachable and simple style.

“The engaging and simple manner in which you shared travel-related information with the passengers today kept us all connected to the journey throughout. The way you began, saying that clouds have settled around Patna today, and it has been raining continuously since yesterday.”

He went on to describe how Rudy guided passengers to look out from their windows for scenic views.

He further added, “Amidst the clouds and light rain, we are about to embark on our journey to Delhi. On the way, we will pass through Varanasi. Then, Prayagraj will be visible on the left and Lucknow on the right. As we catch glimpses of the Ganga and Yamuna rivers, we will complete our journey to Delhi, and if there are no clouds during landing, we will also get to see the lights of Noida’s high-rise buildings.”

‘Your style felt truly unique’

While expressing that his experience felt “truly unique”, he shared some details as to how.

“You were sharing every small and big detail related to the journey, and your style felt truly unique. At the end, when you requested the passengers to clap for a pleasant and successful journey, there was a distinct sense of warmth in it. Truly, this experience was wonderful and unprecedented,” he further said.

“People like you are rare, who, despite such a busy schedule, still find time for their talents. Staying grounded is what this is all about,” he further said, before thanking him for the “memorable journey”.

Along with his post, Chouhan shared several pictures: two showing him interacting with Rudy after the flight landed in Delhi, and a third featuring a handwritten note he had written to the MP.

How have social media users reacted?

“During his many air travels, Rajiv Pratap Rudy has been seen as the co-captain of the flight, and indeed all those journeys have been very pleasant,” one social media user said.

Another commented, “Simple thoughts yet captivating.”

“Your handwriting is very good, Shivraj ji. Only a few leaders can write so beautifully with their own hands,” commented a third.
