A 23-year-old woman, Parinita Jain, collapsed and died of cardiac arrest while dancing at a wedding function in Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh. The incident took place during the ‘haldi’ ceremony of her cousin’s sister at a resort, with over 200 guests in attendance.
A video that surfaced on social media shows Parinita dancing to the Bollywood song ‘Lehra Ke Balkha Ke’ when she suddenly collapsed on stage. The clip quickly went viral, drawing attention to the tragic event. Family members, some of whom are doctors, immediately attempted to revive her using CPR, but she did not respond.
Parinita was rushed to a private hospital, where doctors declared her dead on arrival. She was an MBA graduate and lived with her parents in Indore’s South Tukoganj area.
Tragically, this is not the first heart-related death in her family. Reports indicate that one of her younger brothers also died of a heart attack at the age of 12. Her sudden collapse has sparked discussions on undiagnosed heart conditions in young individuals.
