Siraj and Kuldeep Climb the Ranks After Stellar Performance

Right-arm pacer Mohammed Siraj impressed with seven wickets across both innings, climbing three spots to 12th overall and achieving a career-best rating. Meanwhile, left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav took four wickets to jump seven places to equal 21st on the Test bowlers’ list. Jasprit Bumrah, with three wickets in the match, continues to lead the rankings as the No. 1 Test bowler.

Indian Batters Also Gain Ground in Rankings

Veteran all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja achieved a new career-high rating, moving six spots to 25th overall after his unbeaten century in the first Test. Right-handed opener KL Rahul also scored a century, gaining four places to reach 35th in the Test batters’ list, though England’s Joe Root remains far ahead at the top. Jadeja strengthened his position among Test all-rounders, while teammate Washington Sundar rose four spots to 11th overall, nearing the top 10.

T20I Rankings See Big Moves After Trans-Tasman Series

The T20I rankings also saw major shifts following the New Zealand-Australia series. Australia’s skipper Mitch Marsh scored 197 runs in three matches, moving up 13 places to equal 10th on the T20I batters’ list. New Zealander Tim Robinson surged 58 places to equal 22nd after his century, while Bangladesh’s Saif Hassan climbed 17 spots to 18th following an unbeaten half-century against Afghanistan.

Rashid Khan and Other Bowlers Make Impressive Gains

Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan moved up six places to second overall on the T20I bowlers’ list, behind India’s Varun Chakravarthy. Fellow Afghan bowlers Noor Ahmad (up eight spots to 17th) and Mujeeb Ur Rahman (up six spots to 23rd) also climbed the rankings.
