The International Cricket Council (ICC) released the ODI Player Rankings after the Men’s Champion Trophy 2025 Final in Dubai. After a nail-biting match against New Zealand, India emerged victorious showing great impact on the player rankings. Players who reached the final have won big and further cemented their position on the list.

While opener, Shubman Gill remains an undefeated leader of list with Rank 1, skipper, Rohit Sharma two places to third on this list following his Player of the Match heroics in the final.

ICC Men’s Batter Rankings

Rohit Sharma’s explosive 76 off 83 deliveries played a crucial role in India’s victory, while Virat Kohli secured a spot in the top five ODI batters after amassing 218 runs in the tournament. New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell (sixth), Rachin Ravindra (14th, up 14 places), and Glenn Phillips (24th, up six spots) also climbed the latest ODI batting rankings.

On the bowling front, New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner emerged as the biggest mover, claiming nine wickets in the Champions Trophy, including two in the final. His stellar performance propelled him six places to second in the ODI bowling rankings, trailing only Sri Lankan spinner Maheesh Theekshana.
