Rajasthan Royals Retained Players Full List, IPL 2025: The Rajasthan Royals on Thursday opted to retain six players during the IPL retention window. Under the leadership of Rahul Dravid, the former champions have decided to keep Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Riyan Parag, Dhruv Jurel, Shimron Hetmyer, and Sandeep Sharma.
Sandeep Sharma’s retention falls under the newly implemented ‘uncapped’ player rule.
However, the team has made the difficult choice to release star spinners Yuzvendra Chahal and R. Ashwin, along with wicketkeeper Jos Buttler, into the auction pool for the IPL 2025 mega auction.
