  1. Mitchell Starc: Forbes named Australian player Mitchell Starc as the most expensive player of IPL 2024. Starc who plays for Kolkata Knight Riders has a fee of Rs 24.75 crore. The 34 year old Australian fast bowler has a total of 34 wickets in the IPL. 
  2. Pat Cummins: Another name to the list is also an Australian player. Cummins is an all-rounder and plays for Sunrisers Hyderabad, has a fee of Rs 20.50 crore. The 30 year old cricketer has a total of 45 wickets in the IPL.
  3. Daryl Mitchell: With a fee of Rs 14 crore, Chennai Super Kings’ Mitchell is at number three on the list of most expensive players. The New Zealand all-rounder, who has a reputation for explosive batting and handy medium-pace bowling, has a total of 33 runs in the IPL. 
  4. Harshal Patel: First Indian cricket player to make it into the list is Punjab Kings’ Harshal Patel with a fee of Rs 11.75 crore. The medium-pacer bowler took a total of 111 wickets in the IPL.
  5. Alzarri Joseph: Next to the list is West Indies player Alzarri Joseph, with a fee of Rs 11.50 crore for Royal Challengers Bengaluru. With his ability to trouble batters, Joseph has a recorded 20 wickets in IPL.
  6. Spencer Johnson: Gujarat Titans’ Spencer Johnson with a fee of Rs 10 crore is at the sixth number in the list by Forbes. Australian all-rounder started his IPL journey this season only. 
  7. Sameer Rizvi: With a fee of Rs 8.40 crore, Chennai Super Kings’ Rizvi is at seventh position on the list. The Indian player earned a spot in the IPL team because of his spectacular performance in domestic cricket. 
  8. Rilee Rossouw: South-African left hand batter, Rilee Rossouw, who plays for Punjab Kings for a fee of Rs 8 crore, is the eighth most expensive player, according to Forbes. Rossouw has a total of 262 runs in IPL and brings experience and firepower to his team’s batting lineup
  9. Rovman Powell: Jamaican all-rounder, Rovman Powell, with a total of 257 runs in IPL is the ninth most expensive player, as per the list. Powell plays for Rajasthan Royals for a fee of Rs 7.40 crore. His ability to change the course of the game single-handedly makes him a valuable asset, and his team will look to him to deliver impactful performances.
  10. Shahrukh Khan: With a fee of Rs 7.40 crore, Gujarat Titans’ Shahrukh Khan is the tenth most expensive player in IPL 2024. The Indian player has made a total of 426 runs in IPL and with this, he is a promising young player.
