ICC Women’s World Cup: India will head to their third clash in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 as they face South Africa at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Buoying the victories in its last two games, India are eyeing a hat-trick today. The match will begin at 3 pm (IST).

India outclassed Sri Lanka with an impressive 59-run, and repeated the stunning performance against Pakistan, winning the game by 88 runs. Both games were played on different venues, in a different corner of the country.

South Africa, meanwhile, won their last game against New Zealand, after a huge loss against England.

Visakhapatnam weather report

The India Meteorology Department (IMD) has sounded a yellow alert in Visakhapatnam for Thursday with a prediction of light to moderate rain. Weather website Accuweather stated the chances of rain are more during the timing when the game is scheduled to begin.

Reports say there is a 40 per cent chance of rain, and hence it is likely the match could be delayed. However, a scenario of the whole match getting washed out is not likely.

India vs South Africa pitch report

The game is being played at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, a venue that has not hosted any women’s ODI match since 2014, reported Cricketaddictor. The pitch here is not flat and rather tough for bowlers, it added.

The clash is likely to be quite intense between the batters and bowlers.
