The ICC has finally revealed the T20 World Cup 2024 warm-up fixtures. According to the schedule, India will take on Bangladesh on June 1, while Australia will face the West Indies on May 30. These matches will be held from May 27 to June 1 across the USA and Trinidad and Tobago. Meanwhile, Pakistan and England will not have any warm-up games, as the two teams are scheduled to face each other in a four-match T20I series this month.

Warm-up venues and match details

The warm-up matches will take place at four venues: Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Texas, Broward County Stadium in Florida, and Queen’s Park Oval and Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago. Each match will be 20 overs per side, with teams allowed to field their entire 15-player squads, meaning these games will not have official T20 international status. Teams can play up to two warm-up matches based on their arrival times.

The venue for the India vs. Bangladesh match, which is the final warm-up game before the main event starts on June 3, is yet to be announced. Due to varying arrival dates, different teams have different numbers of warm-up matches. Australia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Ireland, and Afghanistan each have two scheduled warm-up games, while India and West Indies have one each. South Africa will play an intra-squad match. Pakistan, England, and New Zealand do not have any warm-up matches, with Pakistan and England involved in a four-match T20I series ending on May 30.
