Vijay Hazare Trophy, India’s domestic 50-overs competition, is currently happening in multiple venues across the country. While the spotlight was on the tournament because of star players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma playing the first two matches of their respective sides Delhi and Mumbai, there is also a lot of buzz surrounding all-rounder Arjun Tendulkar, legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar‘s son.

Arjun Tendulkar plays for Goa in the domestic circuit. The 26-year-old did not play the first match. In the Goa vs Himachal Pradesh Group C fixture in Jaipur, Tendulkar batted lower down the order and scored 1 off 1 ball. However, he had a horror run with the ball in hand in that match, leaking 58 runs from his 6 overs.

Fails to leave an impact with the bat against Sikkim

Goa are taking on Sikkim in their third match in Jaipur on Monday (December 29). Arjun, however, has failed chip in with a significant score again. Tendulkar came in to bat at number 8. However, he could only manage 19 runs off 26 balls. With the ball, it has been an economical spell from him so far as he has only given away 17 runs in a 5-over burst so far by the filing time of this report.

However, a wicket has still deserted the left-arm speedster. With a potential of 5 overs remaining, Arjun would hope that he finds a wicket somewhere to show against his name.
