The Odisha government has launched for women the Subhadra scheme, under which every eligible beneficiary aged between 21 and 60 years will receive a total of Rs 50,000 over a five-year period, specifically from 2024–2025 to 2028–2029. This financial assistance of Rs 10,000 will be distributed in two equal payments each year. The funds will be directly deposited into the beneficiaries’ bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system, ensuring a seamless transaction linked to Aadhaar verification.
