Petrol, Diesel Price Today 24 Sept 2024: Oil prices were up on Tuesday due to the ongoing tension between Israel and Hezbollah as it can disrupt the production supply in the Middle East. A tropical storm is predicted to strike the US this week. As the US is the world’s leading crude producer, the market is concerned about its implications. Moreover, Brent crude futures for November witnessed a rise by 21 cents or 0.3 % at $74.11 per barrel whereas US crude futures for November were also up by 24 cents or 0.3% at $70.61 per barrel. US oil producers are evacuating their staff from oil production located in the Gulf of Mexico as the second major hurricane is projected to affect offshore oil-producing fields in the next two weeks.
According to Rahul Kalantri, VP Commodities from Mehta Equities, ”In today’s session, crude oil is having support at $70.00-69.40 and resistance at $71.10-71.70. In INR terms, crude oil has support at Rs 5,840-5,780 while resistance is at Rs 5,960-6,050.”
