In a commendable demonstration of unity and compassion, the Indian Army, in collaboration with the Pune-based Indrani Balan Foundation, extended a lifeline to 9-year-old Master Burhan from Baramulla, Kashmir. Battling a critical heart condition, Master Burhan faced urgent medical intervention, a need promptly addressed through the concerted efforts of these two organizations.
A student at the Dagger Parivaar School in Baramulla, Master Burhan not only grappled with health challenges but also faced financial constraints within his family. However, the timely intervention of the Indian Army and the Indrani Balan Foundation ensured he received the necessary medical attention without delay. Supported by the Dagger Division, Burhan underwent an initial evaluation at Government Medical College, Baramulla, on December 22, 2023.
Through seamless coordination between medical experts from the Indian Army and the Indrani Balan Foundation in Pune, Master Burhan was swiftly transported to the Army Hospital Research and Referral Hospital in Delhi Cantt. There, a dedicated team of doctors and professionals guided Burhan through both medical and financial challenges.
Expressing heartfelt gratitude for the collaborative efforts that saved their son, Master Burhan’s family conveyed their appreciation to both the Indian Army and the Indrani Balan Foundation.
