The trailer immerses viewers in the vibrant district of Heeramandi, where Mallikajaan (portrayed by Manisha Koirala), the formidable matriarch of an esteemed house of courtesans, reigns supreme. Unyielding and cunning, she faces a formidable challenge with the unexpected return of Fareedan (played by Sonakshi Sinha), the daughter of her former rival. Amidst this turmoil, the city itself is in upheaval, as revolutionaries agitate for India’s independence from British rule. Bibbojaan (portrayed by Aditi Rao Hydari), one of Mallikajaan’s daughters, fervently joins the fight for freedom. Meanwhile, Mallikajaan’s youngest daughter, Alamzeb (played by Sharmin Segal), harbors dreams of love with Tajdar (portrayed by Taha Shah Badussha), the son of a nobleman, longing to break free from the confines of Heeramandi.

Amidst escalating betrayal and the collision of forbidden desires with societal expectations, the fight for India’s freedom on the eve of independence reaches a crescendo. Against this tumultuous backdrop, Mallikajaan and Fareedan find themselves embroiled in an epic rivalry for the esteemed title of the huzoor, or lady, of Heeramandi. The question remains: who will emerge victorious and claim ultimate dominion?
