L2: Empuraan Box Office Collection Day 14: Mohanlal starrer L2: Empuraan has received a mixed response over the past two weeks. The film had a strong start, earning Rs 21 crore on Day 1, with solid performance in the Malayalam language. By Day 14, the movie had earned Rs 49 lakh by 6 PM. Overall, the film’s India net collection has reached Rs 101.69 crore.

L2: Empuraan Box Office Collection
The box office collection for Empuraan across all languages over the first 14 days shows a fluctuating trend. The movie had a strong opening with Rs 21 Cr on Day 1 but experienced a significant drop of 47.14% on Day 2, collecting Rs 11.1 Cr. However, it saw a 19.37% increase on Day 3, earning Rs 13.25 Cr. After this, the collection remained relatively steady during the weekend, with Rs 13.65 Cr on Day 4, but the following weekdays saw consistent declines, with Day 7 marking a significant drop of 33.92%.
By the end of Week 1, the total collection stood at Rs 88.25 Cr. In the second week, the trend continued to dip, with Day 9 seeing a 25.64% drop. While Day 10 and Day 11 showed a slight recovery, the earnings for Day 12 and Day 13 fell drastically by 59.74% and 16.13%, respectively. On Day 14, the collection dropped to Rs 0.49 Cr, bringing the total earnings to Rs 101.69 Cr.
About Empuraan: Cast and Story
In Empuraan, Jatin Ramdas, driven by his hunger for power and obsession with status, becomes the Chief Minister of Kerala. His selfish agenda leads him to create an opportunity for rival political parties to challenge him for control. As the people of Kerala question whether their hero, Kureshi A’braam, will ever return to their aid, the film delves into Kureshi’s past and his bond with Zayed. With Zayed’s support, Kureshi makes his way back to Kerala, where a battle against the CM, corruption, and the political ills of the state unfolds.

The Lucifer trilogy, written by Murali Gopy, will continue under the direction of Prithviraj Sukumaran, just like the first two films. The title of the third installment has been revealed as Lucifer: The Beginning, though further details about its production are still awaited.
