Dhanush and Nagarjuna starrer Kuberaa witnessed a decent opening weekend with the earnings crossing Rs 31 crore on Friday and Saturday pan-India. On Day 3 today (Sunday), the movie has earned Rs 4.64 crore, which took its net India collection to 35.89 crore as of 2 PM.
According to Industry tracker Sacnilk, on its opening day, Friday, the film collected Rs 14.75 crore, with Telugu leading at Rs 10 crore, followed by Tamil at Rs 4.5 crore, Hindi at Rs 23 lakh, and Kannada at Rs 2 lakh. The collections saw an 11.86% increase on Saturday, bringing in Rs 16.5 crore, with Telugu contributing Rs 11.5 crore, Tamil Rs 4.65 crore, Kannada Rs 5 lakh, and Hindi Rs 30 lakh.
Kuberaa, directed by Sekhar Kammula, premiered on June 20, featuring a strong ensemble cast including Nagarjuna Akkineni, Dhanush, Rashmika Mandanna, Jim Sarbh, and Dalip Tahil. The film has generated positive reviews and with growing audience interest.
According to Sacnilk, “Kuberaa” recorded an overall Telugu occupancy of 51.33% on Sunday (June 22). This occupancy was entirely concentrated in the morning shows, which also registered 51.33%, while afternoon, evening, and night shows reported 0% occupancy. The Tamil occupancy was recorded at 23.57% in theatres for the morning shows, with no occupancy for afternoon, evening, or night shows on that day.
“Kuberaa” saw a limited Hindi occupancy of 5.54% in morning shows. Similar to its Telugu and Tamil counterparts on the same day, afternoon, evening, and night showed 0% occupancy for the Hindi version.
