The Roshans of Bollywood have entered the real-market of Mumbai yet again. Hrithik Roshan with father, Rakesh Roshan have sold three residential apartments in Mumbai worth Rs 6.75 crore. Located in the Andheri area, the newest Bollywood property buzz was reported by SquareYards.
Measuring nearly 2000sqft, the apartments are located in two separate buildings. Completed in two parts, the Roshan property deal comprised of apartments in Veejays Niwas CHS and Raheja Clasique, both located in Andheri West.
Roshans’ real-estate sell
The property in Veejays Niwas CHS was sold for Rs 3.75 crore to Sonali Ajmera. With a carpet area of 1,025 sq ft, it also included two parking spaces allocated to the owner. Registerd on May 25, the stamp duty alone, was nearly Rs 19 lakh with registration documents worth Rs 30,000.
The second apartment located in Raheja Clasique went for Rs 2.20 crore. The 625 sq ft. space was sold to three future-owners, Jeevan Bhavanani, Shilpa Wadhwani and Gaurav Wadhwani. The deal was finalised o May 17 for a stamp duty above Rs 13 lakh.
The third apartment was a 240 sq ft. apartment in the same building which costed Rs 80 lakh to the same homebuyers, Bhavanani and the Wadhwanis. As per documents revealed on Square Yards, the documents were registered for a nearly Rs 5 lakh stamp duty.
The Andheri-West charm
A key real-estate region of Mumbai, Andheri West is a popular location for Bollywood homes. Located near the region in Bandra is Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic Mannat, Amitabh Bachchan’s Jalsa in Juhu and Sonu Sood’s 2600 sq ft house among others.
Jaideep Alhatwat’s Rs 10 crore property, too, turned heads highlighting Andheri West’s appeal to the A-listers. Factors like its proximity to the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport and other commercial areas makes it a desirable location for the prominent names in Bollywood.
