Zayn and Jisoo’s new album coming this month?
An insider shared with The Korea Herald, “Jisoo is releasing a new ballad duet with Zayn sometime this month.” The news comes a few months after Zayn attended BLACKPINK’s New York concert with his daughter Khai. Zayn shared a photo from the event, writing, “@BLACKPINKOFFICIAL THANK YOU 🙂 Me & Khai LOVED IT.” Many think the concert may have served as the perfect opportunity to spark this collaboration.
Fans are thrilled by the news. Many are calling it a “dream collaboration,” with comments flooding in. “Fanfiction coming true,” a person commented on the post. “Two powerful fandoms finally together,” another wrote. “Was not in my 2025 bingo card, but I love it,” a third added. “We’re so gonna get the ultimate autumn ballad hit,” one more said. Some even joked that everyone assumed Zayn would collaborate with Rosé, only to be surprised that it’s Jisoo. “Always thought it was Rosé, not sure how Jisoo and Zayn will look but am happy.”
On the other hand, BLACKPINK is also preparing to drop their first mini-album in three years, alongside their ongoing Deadline World Tour. Jisoo is taking short breaks between tour stops, with the next scheduled performance on October 18 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. BLACKPINK’s Deadline World Tour continues in 16 cities with 31 shows, including stops in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Toronto, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. The tour began in July in Goyang, South Korea, and will conclude on January 26, 2026, in Hong Kong.
In addition to this collaboration, Zayn Malik is also working with former One Direction bandmate Louis Tomlinson on a three-part Netflix docuseries.
