Cases of defamation, slander, and image maligning today have become negatively famous. The internet age, on the one hand, has brought innumerable new developments that have brought industries and people to the forefront. On the other hand, it has also made things awry for a few. Over the years, several cases of image maligning, defamation, and the like have attracted maximum attention from people worldwide.

One such event that has surfaced on the internet recently is the case that turned heads a few years ago when famous actor-comedian Kapil Sharma filed a case against the Simoes sisters. We are referring to Preeti and Neeti Simoes, who have managed work under Kapil Sharma’s production for many years. They have been his managers and have also managed work for many other celebs in the Indian television and entertainment world.

As per a Times Of India report, producer Nikhil Nanda of ‘Aakhri Sach’ on Hotstar has now decided to take matters into his own hands and come forward to file a complaint against the Simoes sisters for fraud.

The Delhi police have filed an FIR against Preeti Simoes and Neeti Simoes for fraud under CrPC section 420/406. Speaking more on the same, the producer said how they manipulated the series’ end credits. They even changed the final shoot hard disc along with Rahul Jha, and for the same, they may soon be called for questioning, TOI reported.

In the past, Kapil Sharma filed a complaint for defrauding him with 25 lacs, as per an article on the internet.

During his show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show,’ he mentioned how the sisters would take bribes from people to be a part of the audience. Preeti and Neeti Simoes also duped a renowned Delhi-based businessman to start an LLP with them and invest with him. After that, they committed fraud and siphoned off money by taking cuts and bribes from suppliers.

Coming back to Aakhri Sach, it is expected during the investigation, all celebrities who promoted the show on their social media handle, as the Preeti & Neeti show, would be asked to join the investigation and show the reason for missing out on Nikhil Nanda’s name, who is the majority shareholder of the production house. Not just that, they also duped debutant producer and actor from Delhi.

In a statement by Nikhil Nanda, he said he has full faith in Bharat’s judicial system. He believes in fighting for what’s right and thinks of taking a solid step forward to save others from their cheap tactics. Only time will tell if the judicial system reveals the truth.
