White Lotus Season 4: HBO’s popular comedy-drama, centred around the social satire and murder-mystery format, the fourth season of The White Lotus was renewed in January 2025. Exploring the exquisite coastal locations such as Hawaii, Sicily, and Thailand, the series has always been shot at uber luxurious locations such as the Four Seasons.

However, as per several reports, the fourth season will be the only one moving away from this pattern. As per a Variety report, the new White Lotus season will be shot in France, giving its fans a peek into Parisian luxury. The Season 4 story is likely to unfurl in the South of France, with a subplot in Paris.

White Lotus Season 4: Date, cast, location

With the location set to be in Paris and the French Riviera, White Lotus Season 4 will return with the same formula. Edgy, crass, and intentional, the comedy-drama does not have an official release date yet. However, several reports claim that the filming process will begin next year.

Since the plot is under wraps, there is a shorter gap than the expected gap between the seasons. Introducing a fresh set of vacationers, the White Lotus creator, Mike White, has hinted at exploring new cultural angles that appeal to the French audience and cities.

While the show will introduce a new cast, there are several cast members set to return, including Tanya (Jennifer Coolidge), Greg (Jon Gries) and Belinda (Natasha Rothwell), reported Variety. It would certainly be amusing to see Charlotte LeBon, the French-Canadian actor who plays Chloé, return in Season 4.

All the hotels in question for White Lotus Season 4

The team’s Paris hotel visits included the legendary Le Lutetia, a five-star gem perched on the Left Bank of the Seine in the stylish Saint-Germain-des-Prés district. Opened in 1910, the Art Deco landmark, now part of the Mandarin Oriental group, has long been a magnet for the greats, from Charlie Chaplin and Ernest Hemingway to Pablo Picasso and Josephine Baker.

Another contender for The White Lotus’ new season is the equally storied Ritz Paris, which first welcomed guests in 1898. Known for its timeless opulence, it was once the popular spot for personalities such as Coco Chanel, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Marcel Proust.

Speaking to Variety, White revealed, “For Season 4, I’m thinking of stepping away from the crashing waves and jagged rocks vibe,” with a smile. “But let’s be honest, there’s always room for a few more murders at a White Lotus resort.”

If the story does head south, the French Riviera’s rocky coastlines, especially around Monaco and Nice, are rumored to be on the shortlist.
