It’s not every day that Bollywood’s three Khans, Aamir, Salman, and Shah Rukh share the stage together, so fans were in for a treat at the Joy Forum 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The trio came together at the two-day global event, which brought entertainment leaders from around the world to the creative summit.

An awestruck moment came when Aamir Khan treated the audience to a performance of the 1968 hit “Oh Re Taal Mile Nadi Ke Jal Mein” from the movie Anokhi Raat, while Salman and Shah Rukh cheered him on.

Watch it here:

Adding to the fun, Salman jokingly said that he and Shah Rukh were Aamir’s “background dancers” as they waved their hands while Aamir sang. When Aamir finished, Shah Rukh urged the crowd to give him a big round of applause, by saying, “His first public performance of classical singing…And in Saudi Arabia!” This was a light-hearted moment during the intensive panel attended by the trio who spoke at length on a number of topics such as fame, careers, the movie industry and shared personal anecdotes.

The moment was one for the history books as it is not only rare to catch Aamir, Salman and Shah Rukh together but impossible to see them playfully break out into song and other shenanigans. The crowd was predictably entertained and lauded the interaction with claps and cheers. For those who grew up with the three Khans on the silver screen, the moment was also a major callback to their earlier days when the three would interact across different stages and film sets. To see them together was nostalgic and a reminder of their enormous legacies that helped shape modern Bollywood.
