Taylor Swift, the richest female artist in the world, is serving fans with the treat of their life this year. Right from announcing her album ‘Life of A Showgirl’ to revealing her engagement with Super Bowl champion Travis Kelce, Swifties cannot keep calm. Taking to social media, she gave her fans the chance to witness her record-breaking global concert, Eras Tour, once last time.
Initially, JioHotstar (previously Disney+ Hotstar) released the exclusive cut of her concert film in March 2024. It was titled ‘The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version). Being the iconic pop star and acclaimed businesswoman that she is, Swift unveiled the first looks of ‘The Eras Tour | The Final Show’ on X (formerly Twitter).
‘It was the End of an Era, and we knew it’
In her post, Swift expressed that the team wanted to “remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives.” There were several filmmakers during the performance, she shared. “We allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down. And to film the final show in its entirety,” the post read.
Calling it the ‘End of an Era,’ the docuseries is titled ‘The Eras Tour | The Final Show’. Releasing later this year, it will contain the concert film, a six-part docuseries, and unseen footage from behind the scenes.
The Eras Tour | The Final Show: When and where to watch in India?
According to the official announcement made by Taylor Swift, the first two episodes of The End of an Era, and a 6-episode behind-the-scenes docuseries will be available to stream on December 12.
Fans can catch the viral digital phenomena on JioHotstar. Capturing Taylor Swift’s Vancouver tour finale, and featuring the complete “The Tortured Poets Department” segment, the episodes are set to follow a weekly release. Catch the trailer here:

‘Taylor’s releases feel more like stock drops than music’
After lashing out at the artist for her new album ‘Life of a Showgirl‘, her announcements fail to impress several of her fans. Commenting on the repeated re-releases, a user on X wrote, “Another ‘special version’ for 24 hours only? This isn’t nostalgia or artistry, it’s calculated scarcity. At this point, Taylor’s releases feel more like stock drops than music.”
“At this point in time, Taylor could release her alarm sound, we’d stream it 10M in an hour,” said a fan on the contrary. “It’s not just a tour anymore, it’s legacy documented in real time. December 12’s about to feel like graduation night for an entire generation of fans,” read a comment under her post.
“Some endings are just beginnings written in different fonts,” said a fan thanking Taylor Swift for “letting us live this era with you.” However, a netizen remarked sarcastically and said, “It’s me. By me of me for me produced and directed by me. Forever me. Love, me,” as the Internet remains divided.
