Taylor Swift’s promotional campaign for ‘The Life of a Showgirl‘ has taken an unexpected twist, with fans accusing the pop star of using AI in her marketing content.

Last week, Swift kicked off a global campaign featuring bright orange “doors” placed in major cities. Each door had a QR code leading fans to exclusive video clips inspired by her new album.

However, as the clips began to spread online, many fans noticed odd distortions and unnatural facial movements. These irregularities quickly sparked speculation that AI was used to create the videos, leaving some fans disappointed and upset.

Has Taylor Swift used AI in the video?

The “Orange Door” marketing campaign, part of Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl rollout, featured a series of cryptic videos for fans to decode, filled with hidden lounges, puzzles, and the usual visual clues that Swift has made famous throughout her career.

The campaign began when fans discovered QR codes placed in 12 cities: Melbourne, London, Chicago, Nashville, New York, Paris, Milan, Berlin, Santa Monica, Las Vegas, Barcelona, and Beverly Grove. Each QR code led to a video that, when pieced together, revealed a final message, “You must remember everything but mostly this: the crowd is your king.”

But as fans began analysing the videos more closely, some sharp-eyed observers spotted oddities that suggested the use of AI in creating at least parts of the footage.

In the London video, for example, a Ferris wheel’s spokes appeared to blur and shift as it moved, and at the video’s conclusion, a coat hanging on two coat hangers morphed into one as the camera spun around.

These strange details have led to speculation that AI might have played a role in generating the content, disappointing some fans who were expecting a more traditional approach.

‘I wish she used AI on the lyrics instead’

Netzens slammed Swift over this issue. A user noted, “I wish she used AI on the lyrics instead.” Another wrote, “Guys relax, she doesn’t have the money to pay actual people to make her ads, she’s only a billionaire.”

“Realistically, she probably did pay someone and they made it with AI,” added a user. “The reality is billionaires love cutting corners when it comes to cost. She very well could have greenlit this. One less person to pay,” claimed another.

“we must buy another dozen variants so she can afford it,” added a user. ” “So you’re telling me that an artist with an insane cult fanbase who will literally consume any shit she throws at them stopped caring about artistic integrity? Omg I’m literally shaking who could’ve seen this coming,” wrote a netizen.
