Even at 59, or should we say, getting ever younger at 59, Anil Kapoor is still one of the most stylish men in Bollywood and his latest photographs have proved that you’re never too old to rock a punk haircut. “Life’s too short to have boring hair! Trying a new look this December completed from my bucket list! On my way to the #ipoy2016 awards,” the Welcome actor wrote while tweeting a pic of his hair yesterday. Over his career that has spanned over four decades, Anil has largely kept the same hairstyle, but we’re sure glad he decided to change it now.
The last person we saw carry off this haircut was Shahid Kapoor, and can we say that Anil looks just as handsome in the crop cut style. Hrithik Roshan for one definitely thinks so, as he replied to Anil’s pic, writing, “OUTSTANDING!” to which Anil replied, “Thank you @iHrithik! I hope my wife shares your feelings…If not, can I crash on your couch?” Hrithik wasn’t the only one as a lot of the actor’s fans tweeted their appreciation for his new look. “Who said u r 59? U still look 25 ! Ur the ultimate trend setter ! Jhakaaaas look. How cool and classy you look. Slayed!” one person wrote, while another added, “@AnilKapoor now, nobody has the right to call you uncle, you don’t look like one.”
However, not everyone was as convinced that the actor’s new look was his best. Twitter was also peppered with comments like, “Anil Kapoor’s bucket list must be seriously shit if that haircut was on it,” and, “Anil Kapoor with short and less hair looks like a parody, original is better.. BTW that’s a badly done haircut.” Hate it or love it, it’s undeinable that the actor’s new hair is causing a stir among his fans.
