The wait is over. The first lot of the Stranger Things Season 5 episodes is dropping tomorrow worldwide, on Wednesday, November 26. With Season 4 ending on an explosive note, Hawkins heroes are set to face Vecna – the nastiest of all Stranger Things adversaries in one last face-off, in the finale season.
Debuted in 2016, Stranger Things became one of the most successful Netflix series as supernatural genre blended beautifully with emotion and nostalgia.
Set in the fictional town of Hawkins of the 1980s, the series received praise from critics for its originality, characterisation, and visual effects. Nearly all its characters, including Eleven, Will Byers, Jim Hopper, Dustin Henderson, and Nancy Wheeler, received a lot of love from the viewers.
Sadly, for Stranger Things fans, the series is reaching its conclusion with the final season. Set to release in three parts over around two months, finale will air on December 31. Adding to the viewers experience would be the theatrical premiere of the last episode titled The Rightside Up, across 350 US and Canadian theatres from December 31 at 5pm PT to January 1, 2026. The episode will simultaneously start streaming on Netflix.

Stranger Things Volume 1 will comprise of four thrilling episodes and they all will start streaming November 26 onwards, to make the most of Thanksgiving holiday. Here are the titles of the four episodes.

About splitting the final season into three parts, co-creator Ross Duffer said in an interview with SFX Magazine that the decision was made for a greater impact.
“In season four, we weren’t aware that it was going to get split in two. It’s not Netflix’s fault; there was the pandemic, and we ended up dividing it in two so we could get episodes out sooner. But this time, we knew we were going to divide it into two, so it really is in two halves. Volume One really exists as its own mega-movie. It has its own climax,” he said. Also volume 1 would be a mega-movie on its own.

To make the Christmas 2025 extra-special three more episodes will be released on December 25.

The new episodes of Stranger Things will premiere at 8 pm ET/5 p.m. PT on each of the three release dates – November 26, December 25 and December 31.
In India, the first four episodes of Netflix’s Stranger Things will be available on Thursday, November 27, at 6:30 am IST, in India.
