Reliable family sources have disclosed that the parents of the late Punjabi sensation, Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, widely recognized as Sidhu Moosewala, are anticipating a new member in their family. As reported on Indianexpress.com, Moosewala’s mother, Charan Kaur, is soon to welcome a baby. Although an official statement from the departed singer’s parents is yet to be released, the news has been confirmed by close family sources. Reports indicate that Moosewala’s mother is 58 years old, and his father is 60.

Having contested the Punjab Assembly elections in 2022 on a Congress ticket from Mansa, Moosewala faced an unfortunate fate as he was fatally shot on May 29 of the same year. The tragic incident occurred in his car in Jawaharke village of Mansa district.

Renowned for his songwriting and production skills, Sidhu Moosewala was celebrated as one of the wealthiest Punjabi singers. Despite his tragic demise in May 2022, his posthumously released songs continued to make a significant impact, turning into chart-topping hits.

There has been speculation about Moosewala’s father, Balkaur Singh, potentially entering the political arena by contesting the Bathinda Lok Sabha seat. However, Singh has clarified that such a move would not bring about any substantial changes.

In recent times, Charan Kaur, Moosewala’s mother, has actively expressed her support for protesting farmers involved in the ‘Dilli Chalo’ movement on her social media platforms. Furthermore, she has advocated for justice for Shubhkaran Singh, a farmer who lost his life at the Khanauri border.

Notably, Kaur has shared photos of Sidhu Moosewala, Deep Sidhu, and Shubhkaran Singh on her social media accounts.

Sidhu Moosewala made his debut in the music industry in 2017 with the release of his first song, “G Wagon.” Swiftly ascending to fame, he garnered widespread acclaim for a series of hit albums, including beloved tracks like “Legend,” “So High,” and “The Last Ride.”
