Shah Rukh Khan fielded questions from fans during a digital interaction on Saturday — sharing new details about his upcoming projects. The actor was also quick to shut down a troll who took a swipe at his age and urged Khan to retire. The Ask SRK’ session on X came after a lengthy hiatus while Khan recuperated from an injury during filming.
“Brother, now you’ve aged, take retirement, let other young people come forward…” an X user wrote.
“Bhai Tere sawaalon ka bachpana jab chala jaaye…Phir kuch acchha saa puchna! Tab tak temporary retirement mein reh please (Brother let the childishness of your questions go away…then ask something good! Until then, please stay in temporary retirement,” came the reply.
SRK to rejoin filming for King ‘soon’
Khan also confirmed that he would soon return to the sets of ‘King’ — adding that he was currently busy rehearsing lines. Production was halted last month after he suffered injuries while filming an action sequence. The film is directed by Siddharth Anand and also stars his daughter Suhana Khan.
“Nowadays…just physio…a bit of reading….and rehearsing lines for King….and sleeping a lot,” he told a fan upon being asked about his current routine. ““Did some good shoot….starting soon again. Only leg shots, then move to the upper body….Insha Allah will be done fast. Siddharth Anand is working hard to finish,” he wrote in another post.
Aryan Khan to direct SRK?
Khan also confirmed that he would be appearing in Ba*ards Of Bollywood — the directorial debut of his son Aryan. He also shared an ‘honest review’ of the project, calling it “very entertaining, wacky, and emotional”. The Netflix series marks Aryan Khan’s debut as a director and has been generating significant buzz ever since it was officially announced on February 3 earlier this year.
“Lots of lovely friends from the industry have participated in Aryan’s series. They’ve been very gracious and loving toward him. Main toh hun hi… Haq se!” he confirmed.
