Saiyaara, the musical romantic drama directed by Mohit Suri, is proving to be the breakout success of 2025. From performing exceedingly well at the box office charts to becoming the second-highest-grossing Indian film of the year, trailing only behind Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava, Saiyaara is having quite the run! The film not only marks a powerful debut for newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, but its album is also getting more and more popular by the day. And now, it has a new feat.

Saiyaara title track Top 10 on Billboard 200 chart

The title track, sung by Faheem Abdullah, is making waves internationally. Currently, the song sits at No. 4 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, ahead of major international names such as Justin Bieber’s “Daisies” (No. 5) and “APT” by BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars (No. 7). Only three tracks rank higher than Saiyaara, which are ‘Golden’ by Huntr/x from the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack, which continues its two-week streak at No. 1; BLACKPINK’s ‘Jump’ at No. 2; and Alex Warren’s ‘Ordinary’ at No. 3.

In a significant achievement for Indian music, the Saiyaara title song also entered the Billboard Global 200, debuting at No. 10. This marks the first time a Bollywood track has entered the Top 10 of both major Billboard global charts.

Saiyaara also made history on Spotify’s Global Top 50, by becoming No. 1 and becoming the first Bollywood track to grab that spot. The song saw a 321% increase in global streams, jumping to 98 million plays in a single week. Sales figures reported a 778% surge, with 1,000 units sold globally.

Back home in India, the song secured the No. 1 position on the India Songs chart and jumped from No. 177 to No. 4 on Billboard Global Excl. U.S., marking the third-biggest leap in the chart’s history. Of the 98 million streams worldwide, 96.8 million came from outside the United States, which proves that the track is killing it globally!

It’s not just the title track, but the whole album is a success. All the six songs from the film currently rank in the top 10 on Spotify India’s Top 50 list. Highlights include ‘Barbaad (Reprise)’ by Jubin Nautiyal and Shilpa Rao, ‘Tum Ho Toh’ by Vishal Mishra, ‘Humsafar’ by Sachet-Parampara, and ‘Saiyaara (Reprise)’ featuring Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal, all of which are trending across streaming platforms.
