Dhurandhar advance collection: Ranveer Singh‘s much-awaited action-thriller Dhurandhar is all set for a December 5 release. Caught between several controversies, the Aditya Dhar film will officially release tomorrow. However, the Dhurandhar early box office trends do not echo the same buzz around the film. Facing some competition from the Kriti Sanon-Dhanush starrer Tere Ishk Mein, it needs to match up to the Rs 92 crore worldwide collections of the romantic-drama.

Based on an underworld saga, Dhurandhar shows Ranveer Singh in an intense. With themes of espionage and patriotism wrapped into one, the film follows criminals, informants, operatives, and spies. Headlined by Singh, the film also stars Akshaye Khanna, Sunjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and R Madhavan in key roles.

Dhurandhar advance booking report

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Dhurandhar’s advance booking has had a muted momentum. The Ranveer Singh movie had earned Rs 4.24 crore, including block booking. Excluding them, the number dips to Rs 2.59 crore, across 58,801 tickets sold across 4,016 shows in India.

Delhi NCR and Mumbai led the advance booking report with over Rs 63 lakh collections in each city. The Dhurandhar popularity followed in Karnataka, which earned nearly Rs 40 lakh, while Gujarat contributed nearly Rs 20 lakh to the total advance collections. However, the Ranveer Singh starrer remains far behind the other Bollywood releases this year.

Dhurandhar estimate vs Bollywood hits

Compared to 2024’s biggest Bollywood openings, Dhurandhar has some catching up to do. Films like Chhaava (Rs 17.89 crore in advance bookings), Saiyaara (Rs 12.49 crore), and the massive War 2 (Rs 32 crore) all set a much higher pace. For Dhurandhar to be in the same league, Thursday’s ticket sales need a serious spike.

Trade experts are staying optimistic, though with a bit of caution. Pinkvilla suggests the film could open anywhere between Rs 14–18 crore, while Sacnilk expects a little over Rs 15 crore on Friday. Either way, the final numbers now rest heavily on a strong last-minute rush at the counters.

Ranveer Singh’s highest-grossing films

Ranveer Singh’s highest-grossing film is Padmaavat, which collected Rs 302 crore in 2018 during its theatrical run. In the same year, Ranveer Singh-Sara Ali Khan’s Simmba did well too. Starring opposite his now-wife, Deepika Padukone, their film Bajirao Mastani became his third biggest film with a Rs 184 crore collection. The top three are followed by Rocky Aur Rani (Rs 152 crore) and Gully Boy (Rs 139 crore).
