2024 has seen several box office blockbusters, but as the year nears its end, a new champion is emerging in Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s Pushpa 2: The Rule. The statistics speak volumes. Opening with a staggering Rs 174.9 crore collection in India across all languages, the movie continues its stellar performance, earning Rs 90.10 crore net on its second day domestically, as per Sacnilk.

In just two days, Pushpa 2 has amassed Rs 265 crore net in India alone and surpassed the Rs 400 crore gross milestone globally. These figures highlight the unmatched fan following of Allu Arjun, affectionately known as “Bunny,” and the immense anticipation for the franchise.

The pan-India release of Pushpa 2 in multiple languages witnessed impressive occupancy rates on its second day. Telugu led with 53% overall occupancy, followed by Hindi at 51.65%, Tamil at 38.52%, Kannada at 35.97%, and Malayalam at 27.30%. Additionally, Hindi (ICE) recorded 49.50% occupancy, while the 3D version achieved a full 100%.

At this pace, Pushpa 2 seems poised to set new records by the weekend.

Directed by Sukumar, the sequel continues the gripping story of Pushpa Raj, a red sandalwood smuggler who rises from nothing to rule the underworld. The film explores the growing challenges and rivalries Pushpa faces, with Fahadh Faasil reprising his role as the formidable SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat.
