Punjabi sensation Rajvir Jawanda died on Wednesday, October 8, after battling for his life for nearly 12 days in hospital, according to multiple reports. He was admitted in a critical condition after a major road accident in Himachal Pradesh, on September 27, 2025.
The 35-year-old singer was put on a ventilator and undergoing treatment at Fortis Hospital, Mohali after suffering from head and spinal injuries in the accident. According to reports, the Jamme Naal De’s singer’s motorcycle collided with stray cattle, leading him to lose control of his vehicle.
According to a Moneycontrol report, the singer was first admitted to a local hospital in Solan district, where he reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest, post which he was transferred to Fortis Hospital, Mohali.
Singer remained in critical condition for over 10 days
The last health bulletin on the singer’s condition was released on October 3, 2025 after which no further updates were posted as the singer remained in a critical condition.
According to Hindustan Times, the MRI scans of the singer showed hypoxic changes in the brain. There was minimal brain activity and no significant improvement in his condition. Also, the MRI of the spine revealed extensive damage to the cervical and dorsal regions, which led to profound weakness in all four limbs, added the HT report.
