Stranger Things Season 5 finale

The third volume of Stranger Things Season 5, comprising of a single episode with a runtime of 2 hours and 5 minutes, is set to release on Netflix on January 1, 6:30 am India time. The longest episode of the season will reunite Eleven, Will, Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Max, and others for one final epic confrontation with the all-powerful Vecna. As the second volume uncovered the origin of Upside Down, it become known that it’s actually a wormhole, which serves as an interdimensional bridge which connects the real world and the world Vecna hides in.

The seventh episode of Stranger Things leaves a lot to be answered and that makes finale the most awaited episode of the final season. Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi courtroom drama which released last month on November 7, is set for its digital premiere. The film inspired by 1985 Shah Bano case opened to mixed response and average box office numbers; it will release on Netflix on January 2, 2026. Directed by Suparn Verma, the film also stars Sheeba Chaddha, Danish Husain, Vartika Singh, Paridhi Sharma, and Rahul Mitra among others. Based on real-life events, the film tells a thought-provoking story. The film could barely earn Rs 21 crore in India, and Rs 30 crore worldwide. With OTT release it targets a wider audience.

Love from 9 to 5

Mexican office romcom Love from 9 to 5 is all set to drop on January 1, 2026, on Netflix, just in time to enrich your New Year OTT list. A hardworking employee and the boss’s charming son compete for the CEO position at a major underwear company, but romance threatens to sabotage them, says the official synopsis. Starring Ana González Bello, Diego Klein, and Martha Reyes Arias, the series has been created by Carolina Rivera.

My Korean Boyfriend

For K-drama fans, this one comes with a touch of reality. The docu-reality show My Korean Boyfriend blends reality show format with documentary. Five Brazilian women, each at different moments in their lives and relationships with Korean partners, arrive in bustling Seoul, the capital of South Korea, to find out whether their relationships can survive challenges like daily routines and cultural differences. Shot in Seoul over 22 days, the show premieres on January 1 on Netflix.

Eko

The Malayalam mystery thriller on November 21 is arriving on Netflix over a month after its theatrical release, on December 31, 2025. Directed by Dinjith Ayyathan and written and shot by Bahul Ramesh, the film features Sandeep Pradeep, Vineeth, Narain, Binu Pappu and Biana Momin in key roles. The film that opened to positive reviews is set in the misty hills of Kerala where the search for an enigmatic dog breeder pulls his wife and caretaker into a world of danger and murky secrets.
