Oscars 2025 Full Winners List: The 97th Academy Awards are concluded in Hollywood. A fortunate group of winners left the 97th Academy Awards with Oscar gold.
Anora, the dramatic comedy directed by Sean Baker, emerged as the biggest winner of the night, claiming five awards, including Best Picture and Best Actress for Mikey Madison.
Hosting the ceremony for the first time, Conan O’Brien presided over an event that capped an awards season overshadowed by the devastating Los Angeles wildfires in January, which deeply affected the city and the film industry.
The show opened with a heartfelt montage of film clips honoring Los Angeles, culminating in a tribute titled We Love LA. The emotional atmosphere continued with a powerful performance by Wicked stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo.
Despite the challenges posed by the wildfires, organizers remained committed to holding the ceremony. However, adjustments were made, including the cancellation of the annual nominees’ luncheon and changes to nomination deadlines.
