Mariah Carey once had the most expensive modern-day celebrity diamond ring on this list and is at the top spot with her 35-carat ring from ex-boyfriend, James Packer. The ring, designed by Wilfred Rosado featured an emerald-cut white diamond set on a platinum band, was picked by the billionaire before he proposed to her in 2016. It reportedly cost him $10 million at the time and Mariah continued to wear it even two months past their break up. However, she ended up selling it at a later date for only $2 million, according to a report from Page Six.
