Rock band of the 90s, Linkin Park, is coming to India in 2026. A treat for the millennials who grew up to the tunes of ‘In The End’, Lollapalooza India features in the band’s From Zero World Tour. This marks their comeback era after Linkin Park returned in September 2024 after seven years.
Months after they introduced their co-lead singer, Emily Armstrong, after Bennington’s demise in 2017. The band, however, kicks off their “From Zero World Tour” on August 29 in Omaha. Scheduled for January 24-25, Lollapalooza is an annual music festival held in Mumbai. With artists like the Jonas Brothers, Halsey, and OneRepublic who shared the stage in 2024, Linkin Park is set to perform in India too.

The general sale for the Lollapalooza tickets will go live on the official BookMyShow portal today at 12 noon. With more than 40 artists lined up, this marks the concert’s four year presence in Mumbai. Customers can also buy the VIP Ticket which gives a dedicated on-field viewing at the main stages and access to the VIP Lounge.
The Lolla Platinum pass gives the ticket holders access to air-conditioned lounges, Lolla Platinum Pits, a shuttle service between festival entrances and several other complementary services. While the official Linkin Park website has confirmed the Mumbai show, the link is currently not functional. Fans can come back at 12 noon to check the tickets for their rock band.
Co-founder Mike Shinoda expressed the group’s excitement to perform their debut concert India. In the official newsletter, he wrote that the fans in India are “incredibly passionate,” as he revealed that performing in India has been in their plans for some time. It also marks the debut of lead vocalist Emily Armstrong on the global stage after Bennington’s passing.
The Bank of Baroda leak
The internet was abuzz after a notification from the Bank of Baroda accidentally leaked one of the artists for Lollapalooza. A user on X (formerly Twitter) shared the screenshot of the notification, which read, “Experience Linkin Park Live at Lollapalooza 2026.” It urged the users to book tickets with their RuPay card on August 26 when the presale tickets went live.

While several fans were overjoyed by the news, others brushed it away as a rumour. However, LollaIndia’s official promotional post on social media was captioned, “From Zero to hundred…” It only led to more speculations considering the rock band’s world tour name. Only later it was confirmed on the band’s official website that they were indeed performing in Mumbai on the dates coinciding with Lollapalooza.
