TV actress Aditi Sharma, who is currently seen in the TV show Apollena – Sapno Ki Unchi Udann, lands in legal trouble after her husband, Abhineet Kaushik, accused her of infidelity. He also revealed that they got married on November 12, 2024 at their Goregaon residence, after which the actress insisted on keeping the news under wraps.
In an interview with India Forums, Abhineet and his lawyer, Rakesh Shetty, claimed that Abhineet and Aditi had been living together for years, and she has been pressuring him to get married over the last year and a half. Abhineet also claimed that despite being reluctant, he agreed to the marriage.
“Abhineet and Aditi got married on the 12th of November, 2024 in a very secret wedding ceremony as requested by the actress. They got married at their Goregaon house and had rented a 5 BHK jodi apartment to stay together 6 months ago, they had been living in for the past 4 years,” Rakesh Shetty revealed.
“She had a condition that nobody can know outside because of her career, since marriage was a taboo and you know as life partners, you do things for your partner, no matter what it is, you try to help them in their career and everything. So I accepted whatever she said, we cant tell anyone, we cant tell our friends, we cant tell our relatives, people cannot know about our marriage but we have to get married and I was like ‘okay, lets do it.’ We got married in our house in the presence of her siblings, my siblings, our parents. We had two pandits, proper riti riwaz se hua, 3-4 din ka proper sab tha. I have 1000 photos of our wedding, phere and everything,” Abhineet added.
Rakesh also shared the couple’s wedding pictures with the publication. He revealed that his client Abhineet allegedly discovered Aditi to be in a romantic relationship with her Apollena co-actor, Samarthya Gupta.
Shetty claimed, “She had just started shooting for the show. Even the producer, Karishma, was aware of it. Abhineet caught Aditi and Samarthya together, which led to an ugly confrontation.”
This led to more tensions between the couple and the police got involved after multiple complaints were filed. In the same interview, Abhineet also claimed that Aditi’s family demanded 25 lakh for a settlement. Shetty remarked, “They insisted on a divorce, and during a lawyer-arranged meeting, Aditi’s side demanded 25 lakh. Things took a violent turn when her father slapped Abhineet, and Aditi got hurt in the scuffle.”
As of now, Aditi has not commented on the matter.
