Kangana, an actor-turned-politician, is busy with her campaign for the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections. She is running for a seat in the Bharatiya Janata Party, representing the Mandi constituency. She has announced that political engagement has led to the postponement of the movie’s release.

Her production company, Manikarnika Films, shared the news on social media. They promised to announce a new release date soon.

As she prioritises her duty to the nation and her commitment to serve the country, the release date of our much-awaited film ‘Emergency’ has been postponed.  We promise to update you soon with a new release date. ‘Emergency’ is Kangana’s project where she serves as the writer, director, and producer. The film also stars notable actors like Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair, and the late Satish Kaushik. It is produced by Zee Studios and Manikarnika Films, with music by Sanchit Balhara and screenplay and dialogues by Ritesh Shah.
