The May 2025 list of best-selling Adult Graphic Novels is here. Circana BookScan, a trusted source for tracking book sales in the US, data revealed some interesting new high-ranking titles on the Top 20 chart, as quoted by ICv2. The latest volume of Jujutsu Kaisen leads the charts, closely followed by new releases from Chainsaw Man and Solo Leveling.

While JJK’s new volume trends on top, the series’ first volume continues to show strong demand, securing the 9th spot on the list, with volume 25 on the 6th. Notably, both Solo Leveling and Lore Olympus also made a strong impact, with two volumes each featured among the top 20 bestsellers.

Interestingly, Jujutsu Kaisen Vol. 26 managed to surpass even the much-anticipated Solo Leveling Vol. 12—a Korean manhwa that recently gained massive traction after its anime adaptation—demonstrating the enduring appeal and dominance of Japanese titles, even against internationally celebrated competitors. Manga and graphic novels have seen a massive rise in global popularity, largely driven by the booming success of anime worldwide.
