For months, rumours about their relationship troubles had been circulating. Sources revealed to People magazine in June that Lopez had been living in their $60 million Beverly Hills home while Affleck stayed in a nearby rental. The couple was reportedly in the process of selling their mansion.
A source told Fox News Digital, “He started moving out a while ago. The marriage is completely over, and Jennifer is heartbroken. She loves love and wanted this to work so badly.” Despite the personal challenges, Affleck has remained focused on his professional endeavors.
Legal and Name Changes
Court documents reveal that Lopez, listed as “Party 2,” requested a “new name” on their marriage certificate filing, which was first received on July 16 and filed with the Clark County Clerk’s Office the next day. Affleck, listed as “Party 1,” is recorded with his full name as “Benjamin Geza Affleck.” Lopez had legally taken Affleck’s last name and changed hers to “Jennifer Lynn Affleck.”
