The list of nominees for the 2023 International Emmy Awards has been released, and it includes the actors Shefali Shah, Jim Sarbh, and comedian Vir Das. For her role in the Netflix drama series Delhi Crime 2, Shefali Shah has been nominated in the Best Performance by an Actress category. The show’s first season has already been awarded as the best drama serie, in 2020. The actress toook it to her socials to express her excitement on being nominated, “OMGGGGG I still can’t believe it. Feel so so honoured to be nominated at the International Emmys alongside such esteemed artists. This one is really special and more so because it is for a character I am very very close to, Vartika Chaturvedi and for my favourite show #DelhiCrime2. This is for all of us in #DelhiCrime.”
For his role as Dr Bhaba in Sony Liv’s Rocket Boys, Jim Sarbh has been nominated in the Best Performance by an Actor category.
This is the second nomination for comedian Vir Das. He was earlier nomated ‘Vir Das: For India.’ This year he ahs made it to the list for his Netflix Special, ‘Vir Das: Landing.”
