Screenwriter Kelly Marcel has revealed that she will never watch ’50 Shades of Grey’ because author E.L James vetoed her ideas.
The 41-year-old screenwriter and actress confessed she refused to see the film that was based on E.L. James’ novel after the pair clashed while penning the script, the Mirror reported.
Marcel, who thinks that seeing the ’50 Shades of Grey’ movie would be too painful as it is “much different” to the one she had originally imagined, explained that her heart really was broken by that process.
She added that she doesn’t see it out of any kind of bitterness or anger or anything like that, she doesn’t feel like she can watch it without feeling some pain.
