Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Day 3

Dhurandhar is not only roaring at Indian box office but is also making waves worldwide. The Ranveer Singh-starrer collected close to Rs 150 crore in its first weekend, globally. In India, the film has earned over Rs 118 crore gross within three days, as per Sacnilk.

The film has been roaring at the box office since the first show on Friday, which helped the numbers grow steadily over the weekend.

Dhurandhar roaring worldwide

The film has performed well at the international box office too. It collected an estimated Rs 30 crore gross internationally, with North America leading with more than $2 million in its opening weekend. UAE, Australia and the UK also reported steady footfall and strong advance bookings.

Dhurandhar marks a major milestone for Ranveer Singh as it has now surpassed his earlier hits like Padmaavat and Simmba, becoming the strongest global debut of his career.

For director Aditya Dhar, this film is only his second directorial after the 2019 blockbuster Uri: The Surgical Strike.

Fastest Rs 100 crore film for Ranveer Singh

On the domestic front, the film’s growth over the weekend has been noteworthy. Released on December 5, Dhurandhar recorded its highest single-day collection on Sunday. According to early estimates by Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 43 crore on Sunday, after collecting Rs 32 crore on Saturday and Rs 28 crore on Friday. With this, the three-day domestic total stands at Rs 103 crore, as per Sacnilk.

This also makes Dhurandhar the fastest Rs 100 crore film of Ranveer Singh’s career. His last film to reach this milestone, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, took 10 days to cross Rs 100 crore. Before the pandemic, the actor had a smoother run at the box office, with films like Gully Boy and Simmba crossing the Rs 100 crore mark within their first week. However, his releases in the last few years including 83, Jayeshbhai Jordaar and Cirkus faced mixed reactions by the fans.

Dhurandhar is a big win for Aditya Dhar
