Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar is on a dream theatrical run currently and is proving to be unstoppable even in the face of seasoned Hollywood competitors like James Cameron’s latest addition to the Avatar franchise – Fire and Ash. It has emerged as the top Bollywood earner of 2025 after incredible collections at the Box Office which also makes it the highest grossing film of Ranveer Singh’s career.

Dhurandhar’s plot revolves around Project Dhurandhar, a high-stakes undercover mission led by India’s Intelligence Bureau. Ranveer Singh plays Jaskirat Singh Rangi, a death-row inmate recruited by the IB Chief (R. Madhavan) to infiltrate Karachi’s underworld. The movie also stars Akshaye Khanna, Rakesh Bedi, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun and R. Madhavan in key roles.

Box Office performance on Day 17

At the Box Office, Dhurandhar continues its historic run – comfortably surpassing major milestones as it completes its third weekend. On its 17th day, Dhurandhar collected an estimated Rs 38.50 crore net in India, marking an 11.68% growth from the previous day. This surge has pushed the film’s total domestic net collection to a staggering Rs 555.75 crore, officially overtaking the lifetime business of major blockbusters like Animal (Rs 553 crore), Pathaan (Rs 543 crore), and Gadar 2 (Rs 525 crore). Notably, the film achieved this feat without the aid of dubbed versions, relying solely on its original Hindi release.

On the global front, the film has achieved a monumental milestone by crossing the Rs 800 crore mark. As of Day 17, Dhurandhar has amassed a worldwide gross of approximately Rs 845 crore, dethroning Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava which earned Rs 807 crore to become the highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2025. With nearly $20 million coming from overseas markets, specifically dominated by North American ticket sales, the Aditya Dhar directorial is now eyeing the Rs 1000 crore club. Industry experts believe that with the upcoming Christmas holidays, the film is poised to challenge the all-time records of Jawan and Kantara: Chapter 1.
